It is important to meet with your adviser(s) once a semester. Don't wait until your senior year. Advisers will help you to make sure you're on the right track in terms of classes, general advice, and meeting all the requirements before graduation, among others.

Graduation - Senior Checklist
1. Apply for graduation the term prior to graduation using the application link in Lionet.
2. Visit the Career Services office to prepare your resume and learn about the Hire a Lion service. 3. Students with federal loans need to schedule an exit interview with the Financial Aid Office during their last term at MSSU. 4. Verify your account balance is paid in full prior to commencement. 5. Attend the spring Career Fair. Contact Career Services for date and time. 6. Attend the Graduation Expo during your last term. Cap & gown will be disbursed at the expo. 7. Attend commencement.
